You'll never know the true weight of your own heart until it's handed back to you in dwindling pieces. Sifting through your fingers like the fine grains of sand, you never take a moment to realize how heavy you're heart is when it's drenched in hopeless romance.
Every memory added more to the already burdened weight, its about to burst. And yet it can still withstand so much more. You're heart is a fortress of solitude, it's a sanctuary that is sacred and easily eroded away by the slightest touch of karma's gentle fingertips.
You never really know the aches of the body until you stop and take a moment to breathe. You suddenly feel the surge of pain coarsing through your veins, all over your body. Is it a sign that you're still alive? or is it just something else that you've already felt before?
You never really know the tears of your eyes until you feel them through the eyes of another. Until you watch as others embrace one another and entice eachother into an everlasting kiss. Until you're the one who's falling apart silently as you watch those around you enjoy the bliss they have the luxury to experience.
You never truly question your motives behind your actions until you confront yourself in the sullied mirror. Was it that you really loved them? or was it just the lust you were after? Was it the moment of ecstasy you feel when the have you enveloped in thier arms as your tounges dance oh so wildly? was it the text that you recieved daily that lifted your spirits? was it getting to see them? was it getting to hear their voice? or was it just because you didn't want to die alone?
You'll never really learn your lesson until you've done everything the hard way. Until you've face every horror you can possibly take, until you feel every pain there is to feel, until you loose everything there is to loose, until you love everyone there is to love, until you hate everyone there is to hate.
You'll never know the true meaning of lonliness until you keep loosing everything that you deeply cared for. Until every oppurtunity slips through your fingers, until everyone you ever you thought loved you, leaves you.
Until you've faced that repetitive loss, you'll never understand what I'm going through. You'll never know what i've faced.
