So there I layed....on the shores of the Ryoshima coast. Feeling the sensation of the waves splashing on me, the scent of the ocean washing over me as I drowned in the night sky. Looking up towards the star filled sky with the cresent shaped moon holding everything in place. Will I ever sleep?

I reach towards an invisible path, grasping nothing & yet feeling everything. I sit my drenched body upright and look at the waves crashing against the algea covered rocks, the seagulls flying over head as the crisp ocean air fills my lungs. Standing up, the saltwater starts dripping, every droplett clashing against the sand...leaving an imprint..letting its exsistance known to everyone. Letting them know that it once existed, that it was once there and always will be. Walking along the shore towards the tree that has served me as my meditation area. A sanctuary of sorts, a place i can escape to when I need to be left alone. Sitting up against the rugged bark, feelng the wind brush upagainst my face. Even as I close my eyes, sleep still alludes me. instead making me ponder on the past and the future. Never really thinking of the present anymore, Never really having a reason to. Or so I thought until recently. As I've thought since childhood, meetings are not coincidental. They are simply meant to happen. That meeting will surely change both persons, changing and affecting them in every possible way. Even if it was for a brief second, that will change you. It's inevitable, there's no stopping it. It's like the sea, all you can do is go where the currents take you.

Everything happens for a reason, nothing is an accident or coincidence. Sorrow, Bliss, Anger, Torment, Agony.....everything is caused by something. A never ending chain of reactions. A bond we cannot sever, stays with us till the end of exsitance itself.

Our lives are our own to live as we wish, to do with as we please and see fit.

Our destinies are ours alone, not preordrained and yet not haphzordly left open either. We alone draw the path & we alone can choose to deviate from that path as well.

There's never really a good nor bad...just one way of doing things vs another way.

As the sunrises from its slumber, its rays slowly shine on everything. Making the area so much clearer. Clearer to see what's really there.

My body feels heavy, not from the water, but from the lack of sleep i rarely get. My eyes, not wanting to shut and yet my head pulsating with pain.

But....does that pain really exsist?

or am I just making it up to make myself believe that I need sleep?

In this life of mine..nothing is certain nor makes sense anymore.

Then again, maybe its better that way. This chaotic way of living has grown on me.
